cant get messages from one number.

I have Apple and he has Android and he can get my texts but i cant get his. I have tried deleting his contact, thread and everything and restarting my phone and still no luck. NO we are not blocked on either phones either. i need help nothing is working.

Types of messages?

iMessage? --> Check your internet stability and connectivity. If the Apple server is the issue, it will show here --> Support - System Status - Apple
SMS/MMS? --> Does not need internet but contact your Carrier Service Provider for network coverage and outages ->: Down Detector - outages

Not receiving SMS from one person?

SMS, MMS, WiFi Call, Call Forwarding, Call Waiting, Call Merge, Conference Call, Hotspot, VoiceMail (Visual or Normal) all are Carrier Specific features. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider), the agency that issued the SIM / eSIM to you.
