Simple way to completely silence phone?

I'm a new Android to iPhone convert. Love my 13, but there are little things that bug me. Like a simple way to completely silence my phone. On Android, turn the volume button all the way down and voila - no notifications, no phone rings, no vibrations. But on iPhone, the ringer-off button allows vibrations to come through. As does turning volume down all the way. And both still allow a mistaken "Hey Siri" or anything that sounds like it to break through. Same with Do Not Disturb via Focus, even with Siri voice response turned to silent ("Hey Siri" still breaks through, as it did for me yesterday when I was teaching a class). Turning your phone over stops Siri, but if I want to look at my phone clock while teaching, I can't have it turned over.

It seems from talking with friends who are longtime iPhone users, the only way to really silence your phone is to turn off the ringer, turn down volume, turn on Do Not Disturb, AND turn off Siri completely. But that seems odd to have to turn off a major feature of the platform just to simply silence your phone.

This was SO easy and straightforward on Android. Am I missing something on iPhone? And if not, why can't there be this super easy function?

Thanks - that stops the vibrations (though sometimes I do want the vibrations in silent - Android allowed you to push the down volume button one more time to stop vibrations, but that's another matter). Siri still breaks through on silence though. Checking the option for Siri not to break through on silence still allows "Hey Siri" to breakthrough - seemingly always. And she's loud when she does that!
