Since I updated to iOS 15 I cannot see icons, they have become too small…..even when set to larger icon in settings. Need to revert back to larger icons of previous iOS versions right now. Absurd to make so tiny, smaller is not better….no utility value. Very poor decision.
Fix this now or show me how.

I notice on my iPhone, under SETTINGS> DISPLAY & BRIGHTNESS, at the very bottom, they have “DISPLAY ZOOM”, which makes your screen zoom larger INCLUDING the icons. Unfortunately They don’t have that feature on the IPad.
Are you saying you got back to only 20 icons per page? And not 30 with ridiculously wasted margin space?
I went and selected "Use Larger Icons", which made them larger, but they're still spaced very close together, and leave way to much space at the sides, etc.
were you really able to get the screen to look like it did before the update?

No, your recommended fix does NOT increase the size of the icons. The uselargeapp choice does NOT bring the icons back to the size we used to have. As an adult who needs to see LARGER icons, PLEASE fix the mess you created and give us a way to go back to the size we had before your darn update that messed this all up. My LARGE i ons used to fill my page. Now, using your use large icon button it only fills half the page. GO BACK TO LARGE!!!!! Icons. Please! Quit messing with things that already work well.

Apple, you should know better to comprehensively test your software before rolling out.

The shrinking of icon size is very annoying and makes usage for many, especially seniors, more of a challenge. This should not be hard to fix, Apple. Please revert to the former icon size where 20 fill the screen.

No one reading here can effect the change you want. Did you tell Apple?

WTF Apple!!!! even after setting this to to large icons - a setting I was using anyways - the icons are smaller than before the upgrade! This reply is nonsense. And this change is so crap. Exactly the reason why I always wait and wait and wait before I upgrade my iOS. Why the f... do you change stuff like like this? Fix bugs, create new stuff if you have to, but do not change layout of things, or at least give an option to use the new or keep the old. Or at the very least make us aware before we run an upgrade (so we know not to run it)
This has made my iPad SO unattractive. Unless this gets fixed with the next iOS version, I'm done with Apple
Switching to “large icons” makes ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE! Is is supposed to do 30 icons a page when small and 20 when large, but after selecting large there are STILL 30 ICONS PER PAGE! I have tried rebooting the device and is makes NO difference. Why does Apple try to “fix” things THAT ARE NOT BROKEN??
I'm also really upset at this change. As a visually Impaired person I can no longer see the icons on the home screen and forget about trying to see the titn, tiny fonts. And sick of Apple's patent response on this, which is given all the time! Go to setting. set to large icons...DOES NOTHING AT ALL. Apple use to support the disabled and seniors like non other but now with this "new" ios 15 they have basically made their devices useless for seniors with less than perfect sight and visually impaired. Yes I know I can zoom, Yes I know I can use voice over. But many apps do not work correctly with that and it's really a pain to be having to zoom on everything all the time. When Apple could tell their super eyed programers to ease up on us who don't have great eye's. And allow however many icons per page WE WANT with size adjusting accordingly. I'm about to dump Apple just for this. Bought their new mini and it's useless after upgrading to 15. Now a $800 useless toy.
I guess apple really does not care about what they like or need since they still have not fixed the small icons. I will not do any updates before I know what they will do since they screwed up with the small icons.
This is not really what everyone is complaining about. The icons have shrunk wit the new update regardless off this setting. Its really poor form and typical of Apple. Probably works great with the latest ipad. Back to the drawing board with this one Apple.
I agree Apple need to return the Apps to their original size why change something that works!
Agree with everyone else. This is not helpful as the apps are smaller on large than they were. Why don’t they let us know what will change first and let us decide if we want it or not!!
I’m in total agreement about the size of the Icons. Awful…and I’ve tried to follow directions to use Larger Size and it doesn’t do it! Apple needs to address this ASAP!
