MacBook Air m1 USB audio devices not recorgnized

Some comparable questions have been asked in the community already, but I have not been able to find answers providing a solution.

Situation:

All USB audio devices (as well input as output) connected to my MacBook Air not being recognized, is this a common problem?

Configuration:

1. MacBook Air M1

2. StarTech Dual 4K Docking Station (dual HDMI - DisplayLink)

3. Satechi USB-3 Hub

4. 2x Philips Billiance 272P Displays (built-in camera/microphone and 5-port USB 2 hub) connected to a StarTech Docking Station

⁃ Video OK

⁃ Audio in/out NOT recognized

5. Logitech Brio USB webcam

⁃ Video OK

⁃ Audio in NOT recognized

6. Yeti Blue USB microhone (with wired headphone connected) NOT recognized

All other USB devices, harddrive/SSD’s, printer, scanner and external speakers (connected to audio output port on StarTech Docking station), no problems . . .
