IOS 15 update

Since updating to ISO 15 all steaming apps (Apple TV, Netflix, Stan, Disney) are no longer working. I have deleted and re-downloaded the apps, shut down my phone and reluctantly updated to IOS 15.1.1 with no avail. I also do not have the option to uninstall the update. I just not long got my iPhone 13 and I’m quite annoyed about not being able to use it for streaming.

Does anyone know when Apple plan on addressing this issue? It seems to have been going on for months without them directly addressing it.

Is this happening on Wi-Fi, cellular data or both?

If this is happening on Wi-Fi, does it happen on multiple different Wi-Fi networks?

What do you see when attempting to stream? Do you see an error message?

This info will help narrow down possible causes of this issue.

Hey,

It happens on both WIFI and mobile data. My partners iPhone 8 that hasn’t been updated still works fine with the apps and does my iPhone 8 work phone.

Netflix will load the app as normal, but when clicking on a show it will load for around 1-2 minutes and will then say “Error: cannot play title. Please try again later. (CM:42765;)

Stan just loads forever with a spinning cog and black screen.

Disney app works as normal, but when clicking on a show it will load for about 30 seconds and then say “something went wrong playing ‘what ever show’.

Apple TV app works as normal, but after clinking on a show it will load for around 10 seconds and then say “there’s a problem loading this content”

Amazon prime app works as normal but when clicking on a show it takes ages to load and then will say “Play back error. An error occurred. Please try again later or for more help, contact Amazon customer service”.

Even Australian TV / news apps are not loading.
