Touch screen issues while charging

This is a user-to-user forum, not apple support. Try a different cable n even Apple cables can fail.

I changed my power brick & lead. All fixed now 😊

Same solution that has already been posted several times in the thread you added to; you have a defective cable or power source.

Either the cable or the power source are defective.

That's bunk. Either the cable or the power source is defective.

That is almost always symptomatic of a faulty charging cable or power supply.

It would be helpful if you would contact Apple support about that, using the Get Support link at the top of this page.

Had this issue trying to charge on a train. Removed Apple MagSafe case and put charging cable back in and it works correctly again.

put case back on and it has issues.

first time it has happened. Charges & operates fine at home

very strange.

Then it has failed. Get a replacement.

Im grasping at straws here but have you tried a restore? I know it’s a pain but if it works it will be worth it….

what about if the accessory is an original apple case?

we supposed to remove the case while charging the phone every time?!
