Migration Assistant Conflicts Detected

Having migrated to Monterey on my iMac, I am now looking at Migration Assistant. When I start it, I get the 'Conflicts Detected' message. I worked out that the conflict is in my userid Library. I have deleted a number of files but the message persists. Is there a way to identify what the problem files are?

Please describe "userid Library". The Library folder is a system folder and should never be altered in any way. To do so can cause unexpected and unwanted responses. If you changed anything in a system folder, that's likely the source of your conflicts.

Are you attempting to migrate from TimeMachine? The TM backup is in essence a mirror copy of your system and may be expecting to see its source as unchanged. If things are altered, there's no telling where data will go it it goes at all.

You migrate user data from the folders designed to hold it: Documents, Music, Pictures, Movies, Desktop and sometimes Downloads if you haven't moved the files out. Other user created folders under you ID will be handled as are these six.

Is this "Library" a folder you created? If so where? You don't do anything with the system Library folder to migrate data. If using Setup or Migration Assistant, system Library will be handled as necessary. There is nothing in the system Library folder you need to touch. Or at least there shouldn't be unless you mistakenly put it there.

How, what method, are you using to migrate data.
