Hello, I just got a new iMac, and I am trying to run migration assistant, and the number of items proceeded is at 6,009 and it hasn’t moved for a while. This happened last time I tried to run migration assistant, but it was a different number. Do you think it is my MacBook or my iMac, or a file? I am using Ethernet to hook up my MacBook to my iMac. [edit] I just checked after a long time and its still at the same number

It could take a couple of hours to Migrate over Ethernet and the processed numbers may not be accurate. Best bet, is to just be patient and do not interfere with the Migration process.
