Thanks for getting back to us with the details. Does the behavior occur frequent enough that you'd be able to easily replicate it? If so, we'd like to have you try resetting the SMC then the NVRAM on your Mac:

2. Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac

If there's still no change, the next step would be to further rule out software causes on the Mac using safe mode:

Thanks for getting back to us and confirming the model of your MacBook Air. Do you have another user account that you could try logging in to so we can confirm this behavior isn't caused files or settings for a specific user account?
