HP printer - "Scan to Network Folder" issues
Anyone able to use the "Scan to Network Folder" function on an HP printer (scanner)?
Connectivity is good via Ethernet cable. I can initiate a scan from the Mac and preview and save an image. I can connect and change settings to the printer via it's Embedded Web Server interface.
I cannot get successful test or function when I attempt to configure the "Scan to Network Folder" page.
I have set up the target folder/s as a shared folder.
I have enabled remote login in.
I suspect it may be that I do not understand how to properly input the "network path" field in config.
I am new to Mac OS. Hoping this is a "greenhorn" issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Using:
Mac mini (M1,2020) using Monterey version 12.0.1
HP MFP M426fdw printer (checked for firmware updates, it is current)
Mac mini 2018 or later
