CarPlay Echo Volkswagen

Has anyone been able to fix the echo on the other end when making a call in CarPlay mode? I have a 2019 Jetta and a 2019 Tiguan and both have this issue. No echo if the person calls me back. No echo in bluetooth if I unplug CarPlay.

Not hearing callers using CarPlay I’ve read that other users are having the same issue as me. I’ve been using CarPlay in my 2022 Kia Telluride for about a year with no issues. A few days ago I stopped being able to hear callers. My vehicle shows that a call is coming in, I answer through CarPlay, and then the vehicle shows that I’m on an active call. The caller can hear me but I cannot hear them. I’ve repaired the device, turned my phone off/on. I’ve turned Bluetooth off. Any other suggestions?

Caller hears echo of their voice: Apple Carplay + iPhone12 promax + Boss Boss BE9ACP car stereo Hello, This seems to be a common problem. The question shows up in many places, but there have been no answers from Apple or others that seem to solve the problem. Description: Aftermarket (brand new) Boss head unit listed above installed in 2007 Toyota Highlander Problem: those talking to me, when I'm speaking with them through system, hear a clear echo of their own voice Hands-free microphone installed in different locations, all with same result I do not hear any echo, neither mine or theirs They do not hear an echo of my voice, only of their voice NOTE: the problem ALSO occurs when phone connected via Bluetooth. I have tried with USB/Cartalk connected, and Bluetooth turned off on the phone, just to be sure both systems aren't somehow active. This made no difference. Am pretty sure this is due to the caller's voice being fed back to them, after it comes out of my car speakers. Am hoping there is a setting or adjustment to manage this in the iPhone. There is no such setting in the Boss unit. Though this seems to be be a problem specific to iPhone, and specifically iPhone 12. Any suggestions or solutions greatly appreciated.

Callers hear echo when i use a bluetooth headset On my iPhone 12 mini people who call me hear an echo when I use a bluetooth headset. There is no echo if I use the speaker phone or talk on the phone. I got a new Plantronics headset as I thought that was the problem. This did not resolve it. Just updated iOS to 15. No help either. How do I resolve the issue? Thanks for your help
