digital covid vaccine record will not open health app on iPhone SE, only an apple website. Is there a fix?

Trying to scan the CA covid vaccine QR on iPhone SE into the Health app/Apple Wallet, but the Health app link doesn't show up in the camera when I can the QR code, it only links to an apple website. However, it's working on iPhone 12. Is there a fix for the SE or do I have the health app or camera set up incorrectly?

Hello Weinerd,

We'd love to assist you with adding your vaccine info to the Health app. First, have you tried restarting the iPhone using the steps here: Restart your iPhone to see if it scans it properly? Also, are you using a screen protector or protective case on the device? If so, does removing it resolve the issue?
