Imac frozen
I have a 2017 Imac running Monterey and it keeps freezing and losing the bluetooth connection. It's getting more frequent and it's really frustrating to get any work done. Any fixes or is it broken?

Well I see some issues that need correction, however before you do ANYTHING there is no evidence you backup your Mac. This is short sighted and will result in lost data. If I am correct, please get yourself an external HD such as a OWC Mercury Elite Pro and use Time Machine to backup. If you are not familiar with TM please read Back up your Mac with Time Machine!!!
After you have a backup please do the following:
The best antivirus, cleaning app, and overall maintenance app for Mac OS is Mac OS itself. All you need to do with Mac OS to keep it secure and running well is to keep it up-to-date and do periodic (about 1x per week) restarts. Other than that, leave it alone. Adding third party antivirus, cleaning, security and other types of maintenance apps to Mac OS adds no additional level of security. The only thing these apps do is have the opposite affect users want. They make Mac OS slow, unstable, generate odd behavior (much like you are experiencing) and make Mac OS appear buggy.
Please locate the developers uninstall instructions for CleanMyMac and follow to the letter. Then restart in Safe Mode per the directions in Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac and then restart normally.
Finally, please do the following:
OWC, and I installed 2 16gb
OWC RAM is fine, I added 2 16GB DIMMs to my 2020 27", never had an issue.
I thought about moving my OS to an external disk and running my computer that way but I'm not sure if that would fix the problem since my Imac still needs to read it.
I think I'll try running off an external SSD. I can't afford to pay for repairs right now.
