Numbers will not allow me to access formatting tabs other than Table. MacBook Air (M1, 2020), Big Sur V 11.6.1, Apple M1 chip. Updated Numbers today with no improvement/change. No idea what to do. Would appreciate any suggestions.

Senior moment. I forgot the first rule of any apparent software glitch. Always try a restart first. That solved the problem. Thanks for reminding me!
