Just updated to Monterey. Podcasts app stuck on "Updating Library."

Hi.

I just updated to Monterey. Now I try to start up Podcasts, and I get a nearly blank window with a spinny thing in the middle that says "Updating Library." Have tried quitting and restarting Podcasts to no avail. I don't think giving enough time is the issue, as one time I let it run like that for over an hour. I thought the Podcasts app couldn't get any worse, but I was wrong.

It can take a while to update the library after upgrading to Monterey. I would give it overnight at least.

If still problem try restarting the mac.

Next would be to boot to Safe Mode. which takes minutes. Then boot normally.
