PARENTS BE CAREFUL Unauthorised transactions

Hi All does anybody know where to go when $765 worth (41) unauthorised transactions over a period of 3 days has been taken from your account. The transactions were done through an in app purchase through the game Clash Royale on my 14 year old son's phone. Some of the transactions were even done when screen time was on and my son COULDN'T access the phone or the game.

I have completed 'report a problem' twice and been told 'YOUR MATTER DOESN'T FIT THE CRITERIA' however they won't tell me what the criteria is or why mine isn't warranted. I was also told by the lovely (not) support person 'JUST DEAL WITH IT'. Not sure how anybody else would handle $765 at this time disappearing from your bank account.

Contact Apple. Click here --> https://support.apple.com/choose-country-region Select your country, then a product. If you don't see one that handles your issue then keep experimenting with selections until you reach one that gets you a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.

or:

Contact Apple for support and service --> "See a list of Apple phone numbers around the world."

Click here --> https://support.apple.com/HT201232

The Report A Problem method is how you ask for refunds, but it would have to be done from his account since he is the one who made the purchase, even if it ultimately got charged to your account.

It sounds like you need to set up this -->

Approve what kids buy with Ask to Buy - https://support.apple.com/HT201089 - Family Organizer receives requests by default, but another parent or guardian can be assigned permission.

Ask To Buy can only be turned on for members up to 17 (age varies by country - https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/).

Nobody responding here can actually do anything for you other than provide advice.
