Crashing MacBook Pro 2015

My circa mid 2015 Retina Intel based MacBook Pro using OS 12.0 has begun to crash without any obvious cause. The device is on with a full charge and then the screen goes black and no action accesses the screen except powering back up. Memory is good, storage is good; all obvious concerns seem to be not problematic. I cannot seem to duplicate the problem consistently and thus canceled an appointment at the Apple store assuming they would just tell me my computer is too old and they no longer support a 2015 Mac. Any ideas what is happening?

You can try running the user Diagnostic...not as definitive as Apple's own AST2 (Apple Service Toolkit) back bench diagnostic, but may kick out an error code.

Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac
