iCloud-foto's

Good afternoon. On my iPhone iCloud is installed. Foto made with my iPhone are stored under "Foto's" (my language is Dutch). I also installed iCloud for Windows 10 on my laptop.

When I save a file on my iPhone in iCoud Drive then this file is also available on my laptop. And visa versa.

The problem is iCloud-foto's. It is possible to save a picture in iCloud-foto's on my laptop. It is also possible to save pictures on my iPhone. But both are not syncronised. I can't see te pictures stored on my iPhone on my laptop and visa versa.

Windows, Windows 10

Hey ErveeDB,

It sounds like you have a concern with iCloud Photos being set up on your PC and iPhone, but they do not appear to be syncing with each other.

For isolation purposes, can sign in to iCloud.com to see if recent photos are uploaded to iCloud? This will help tell us if the issue is with the iPhone uploading pictures or with the iCloud for Windows downloading the pictures.

If the photo does not appear, try switching networks on the iPhone to see if that helps. Also ensure that the iPhone is completely charged.

If the photo does appear in iCloud, check under "Download and share your photos" here Set up and use iCloud for Windows - Apple Support to ensure that the correct folder has been located on the PC, and that this is the folder used to store and download photos.

Dear Karina,

"For isolation purposes, can sign in to iCloud.com to see if recent photos are uploaded to iCloud?" Yes they are.

I removed "iCloud" from my app list. Then I downloaded "iCloud for windows" again .

The following message appeared:

This is Dutch.

[It is not possible to make a map for iCloud-foto's. The problem can possibly be solved by restarting the computer. (Fault 5) ]

That's what I did without good result. Regards,
