I am still struggling with sending iPad and iPhone photos via email as an attached JPEG file and not embedded in the body of the email. I’ve tried using the “automatic” button under settings>photos and the “most compatible” button under settings>camera>formats on both devices but they still embed the photo in the email as opposed to attaching it. Certainly Apple is aware of this problem as I see that the same issue has been around for years.
I recall that previous IOS systems provided a “send as an attachment” button when sharing but that feature has since been long gone. Sure makes it impossible to use the photos for any other type application like a power point presentation or article. Not interested in a 3rd party app to fix this.
Hopefully somebody out there has figured it out.
