will a mini ipad 4 down load games and videos for a 2 yr or is that to old for newer stuff.

A 2015 iPad Mini 4 is capable of running the latest versions of iPadOS 15 and therefore can download/install and run all recent apps and games.

Ipad 3 update query I currently have an iPad 3rd Generation 16GB tablet which is nearly full, runs so slowly, won't accept some apps or app updates because of its age. I like the 9.7" screen and wouldn't want to progress to a mini as I am not young and would find the text/ images too small. I am therefore looking at getting the youngest device with a 9.7" screen which I believe is an iPad pro 1st generation with a 128 or 256GB capacity. I'm giving my old iPad mini 2 to my son. He played games on it. Is it possible to erase the iPad, create a new user (my son) and then install the previous game apps with all their data? I'm about to give my old iPad Mini 2 to my son. I was thinking to erase it so my son can use it from scratch and personalise it with his own Apple ID. He currently plays game apps on this iPad and would like to transfer these across (with all the data/levels he's completed) onto this newly erased iPad. Is this possible? I currently sync the iPad to my iMac.

Will I be able to update my apps on new iPad? I have an 11 year old iPad 2. It has not had anything updated in many years yet still works and my Apple and Itunes accounts are still with me. I will be getting the newest basic iPad as soon as they are available, hopefully by Sept. 22. When I transfer my purchased apps and files from the old iPad to the new one, will I be able to update the apps finally after years of no updates? I know the iPad will come with some of the included apps, but apps I bought long ago like SongBook, I wonder if once transferred to the new iPad, will I be able to update it or will I have to buy a new version?
