Apple Watch Focus exceptions

As you mentioned receiving notifications for the Telegram app in your iPhone, but not in your watch, have you tested for this same issue while your iPhone screen is locked and you're only using the watch? We ask as depending on how you're using both devices, notifications act differently. Is this only occurring with the Telegram app, or does the same issue occur with all app notifications in your watch?

Any steps tried so far, like a restart of both devices?

Let's continue ruling out some possible causes, along with confirming some of the details asked earlier:

1. Does this only occur with the Telegram app, or are all app notifications affected with your watch when enabling the Sleep under the Focus settings?
2. Has a restart been tried for both devices?
3. If you have a compatible iPhone model, the latest version is iOS 15.1.1. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. Here's a link that'll show how to first back up, then Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
4. For your watch model, the latest is watchOS 8.1. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. Here's a link that'll show how to Update your Apple Watch.

I have the same issue.

1. This issue is still true for all apps and notifications (include exceptions apps)
2. Yes. Also, I have repaired (unpair and pair again) devices
3. I have iPhone SE 2020 (15.2) and watch 7 (8.3 (19s55))

Could you, please, help me with this issue?

I have the same problem. When I have focus activated on my phone, I have exceptions for my wife’s texts, calendar and reminders and they work on the phone and ipad and get through but not on the watch. It looks like the exceptions settings are not getting to the watch.

I gave up trying to work with it/figure it out. I wanted to block all notifications except for certain ones but if it doesn't work on my watch it's pointless. Maybe some fix will come out at some point.

I have the same exact use case - I have Telegram set to still send notifications through Sleep Focus mode, but it only buzzes my phone instead of my watch as well. I’d hoped very much that the sleep focus modes would directly follow the settings on the iPhone!

Is there a fix for this?

I am having the exact issue with mine as well. The phone and watch are all updates. I’ve reset the watch and re-paired it to the phone. No change. Is there a resolution for this issue yet?

Same problem here. With focus mode active I get notifications from Slack, Telegram or Spark only on my iPhone and not on my Apple Watch. Solutions?

Exact same issue here, notifications like hourly chimes and health reminders aren't coming through while in focus modes on iPhone and watch. Please fix
