Phone7 pairing with my MBP with Monterey is not working. It was working with Big Sur

I'm having similar problem with Monterey , my iPhone 7 will not pair with my MacBook Pro 2018. It says my MacBook Pro is not supported via bluetooth app. Both devices are on m iCloud account. I'm on Monterey 12.0.1 and iOS15.1. I started having this issue when I upgraded to Monterey on my MBP. When I go on a web sites that has double authenication they sent me the code and it no longer comes thru iMessage on my MBP. I then need to get my iPhone to get the number and manually transfer to web page on my MBP, whereas with Big Sur it came thru on Safari !

Is there a fix coming for Monterey, or should I consider go back to Big Sur ?

You do not pair your iPhone to your Mac. All you need is to have the phone turned on. If you are looking for iMessages on your MBP, then you need to ensure that you have Continuity setup for the two devices and that Text Message forwarding is turned on to get messages on both devices. Are you are using iCloud messages?
