When I ask Siri to call a person it asks for a password.

When I ask Siri to make a call it asks for a password. What do I do?

We see when you attempt to make a call with Siri, you're prompted for a password, is that correct?


To clarify, Siri may prompt you to unlock your iPhone in order to place a call or perform a number of other actions. You can enter your passcode, or use Touch / Face ID in order to unlock your device. If you don't know your passcode, its the typically 4 or 6 digit numeric passcode that was entered when the iPhone was set up.


Should you need to reset that code, the iPhone would need to be erased. See details here:
