Macbook Air screen

I am thinking of getting my wife a Macbook Air M1 8RAM 256GB but am afraid of what I have read about the screens cracking or the display dying for no discernible reason.

Mac Mini M1 display issues after 12.0.1 upgrade Hello, I have a Maci Mini M1 that updated to 12.0.1 this morning. During the upgrade it started encountering video issues (screen went blank, fuzzy, intermitted noise/snow. Now that the upgrade is complete, it randomly looses video and the screen also gets choppy and distorted. it's worth noting this device had display issues out of the box but seemed to be rectified by the first update after purchase.

MacBook Air screen issue Seems that this MacBook Air had an issue with the screen that doesn't seem to be happening now that I've restored it to its original. We are giving it to a granddaughter. Does that happen or could we have problems going forward? We did change the power cord. Not sure if that had anything to do with it! [Re-Titled by Moderator]

All Macs come with a warranty. You can also purchase AppleCare+ at your option.

Warranty will not cover screen cracking based on what many users have stated which makes them very angry. Apple Care+ should cover that issue.
