AppleTV connected to WiFi, no Internet.

I've seen other posts with the same issue. It's very frustrating, every time we bring our AppleTV out of sleep, we have to restart it to get an internet connection, despite being connected to WiFi. It also drops connection constantly, despite still being connected to the router via wifi. The device is only a few feet from a mesh satellite end NO other devices on the house have this problem. Firmware, etc. is up to date, wifi channels are not congested. Roku at far end of mesh system works flawlessly and never has connection issues. This device was a replacement for a 4k unit that had a failed power supply in about a year.
