Screen flicker on external display following 12.1 Monterey Update.

Screen flickering has been an issue on Macbook Pro for a couple of years ( I had a 2019 15 MBP), and it seems to be getter worst with my 2021 M1 Pro. Hope this can be prioritized at some point by the SWE team.

Issue: Screen flickering on an external display with M1 Pro after version 12.1 (21C52) update.

Steps to Reproduce: Attempted two HDMI cables, different ports (HDMI ports, USB-C Multiport Adapter, USB-C), restarted, and shut down the M1 Pro.

Do you use variable refresh rate on your external monitor? If yes, you might be affected by this bug: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/variable-refresh-rate-freesync-gsync-flicker.2320463/?post=30551784
