Philips phl499P9 and MBP M1 Max sound problem

Hello.

I have now a M1 Max MBP, with the phl499P9 monitor attached to USB-C (thunderbolt). (This same problem was on MBP 2019)

Everything works fine, webcam and sound, until the computer goes to or are set to sleep. When waking up there are no more sound on the internal speakers on the phl499P9 monitor. Until I turn it off and on again.

The problem then is that all disks connected have to be 'remounted'. And that is a pain. Or of course a restart of computer, but also a pain.

Contacted Philips, 'not their problem', because they are not supporting MacOS on this monitor.

To sad.. because its a brilliant monitor together with an MBP 16" M1 Max 64GB. The combination is stunning.

Im living in hope.. but slowly recognize a possible resignation...

Any help out there please..:)
