iOS 15.2 Battery Drain
Is anyone experiencing battery drain since updating to iOS 15.2? If so, any tips for what to do about it? I just updated this morning. Thanks!

raffeph ~ We can't "fix the problem with next update" – because we're just users like yourself. Ask Apple to fix it here:

My iPhone 7 Plus is also much warmer than usual since the update to iOS 15.2.1
Factory reset does absolutely nothing. It is a very common recommendation from Apple and it almost certainly brings back the issues. The issue is iOS 15 and iOS 15 alone. No ‘if’s and buts’ about it…
Totally agree. I've tried that reset nonsense for other problems before and it does absolutely nothing. It's more of a fob off from apple.
Even worse after 5.2.1. The battery behaves as though my phone is years old instead of months old . All background app refresh is off an location very limited . No help
They tend to do that a lot when it comes to things like this. Remember 'batterygate'?
I'm not sure if it makes sense to keep posting that link for submitting feedback to Apple as there is no option to specify iOS 15.2 there, so no one is going to process our reports properly anyway.
I reported it to apple phone support and they just told me to do a factory reset. They weren't interested when I sent them the link to the posts here.
No mention of the battery problem in iOS 15.3 release notes.
I installed 15.3 yesterday, I am not sure if it got even worse with that update, but for sure it didn't get any better. Still same crazy battery drain.
Facing the same issue on my 11 pro and following this thread actively for a potential solution. No luck so far even with the 15.3 update.
Thank you, just e-mailed them.
Yes, it was replaced at Best Buy by Apple’s certified service technicians. It’s not worth saving $10 to have someone else replace it.
