After rebooting to instsall MacOS 12.1 I get the following window (translated from Dutch to English):
A required firmware-update could not be installed. To update, a compatible internal storga device is necessary.

The internal SSD is the original one . . .
Does anyone have the same problem?

Option 1 - take to Apple Store / Apple Authorized Service Centre and have hem evaluate the computer
Option 2 - the Internal Drive is Not Original Apple Original Drive

It is a Transcend Jetdrive!
As far I know this is the original SSD.
Disk Utilities >> View >> View ALL attached Drives.
4 - Choose the Upper Most Drive ( not the volumes indented and list below ).
5 - The drive normally is called Apple Media or Apple SSD
What does your computer report and perhaps a screen shot
There is something not right from you picture and indicates the Drive has been Partitioned incorrectly There should be a single portions with Volumes below.

The Age of this computer will Govern what newer version of macOS it will Qualify to install. Use About this Mac from the Apple Icon on Desktop - the required Information will be there.
Take a screenshot of About This Mac>System Report>Hardware>Storage and click on the internal disk. Take a screenshot and post it.
Does it say Apple in the Device Name?

Sorry was not exact enough. Was looking more like picture below identify the Maker of the Drive.
This would clearly Identify if the Drive is Apple Original or not.

Well, as mentioned in earlier responses:
The SSD in this MacBook is not supported by Monterey.
I purchased the MacBook Pro at an auction selling the inventory of a company going bankrupt.
The original SSD was replaced by a third party SSD of which I was not aware . . .
I found the solution on Reddit in the post:

I currently enjoy MacOS Monterey on an officially supported MacBook Pro.
No, no external drive connected, only the internal SSD.
Well:
According to that list the Retina MacBook Pro 13" (early 2015) is supported!
I tried the above, but got the message showing again during step 2
