Hi there, carryl114,

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities. If we understand, you'd like to turn off Private Browsing in Safari for iOS 15, but are not finding the option. We're happy to help!

The overlapping tabs icon allows you to view and switch between open tabs and tab groups, open a new tab, and toggle Private Browsing on and off. They are located in the lower-right corner of the Safari app when your iPhone is held in portrait, and in the upper right when it is in landscape. While you are actively using a website, the Safari tools are hidden. Scroll back to the top of the site, or tap either the top or bottom of your screen to make the tools, including tabs, visible.

Once you have the tabs option visible, follow the steps below from Turn Private Browsing on or off on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support to turn Private Browsing off:

"How to turn off Private Browsing

  1. Open Safari on your iPhone or iPod touch.
  2. Tap the Tabs button .
  3. Tap Private   to show the Tab Groups list.
  4. Tap [number] Tabs , then tap Done."
