My iPhone randomly cut off iMessage

My phone randomly cut off iMessage and is no longer allowing me to use my phone number to receive or send iMessages and FaceTimes. I’ve tried resetting my phone turning it off and back on a giving it a little while and it’s still not working. If will try to authorize it and will pop up an error message saying “an error occurred during activation”
