iCloud Calendar: "Server Error"

iCloud Calendar accessed directly via icloud.com doesn't update my Calendar saying: "Server Error". It's not an application-relation glitch, it's iCoud itself. All other elements of iCloud (Mail, Notes, etc.) work well.

Did: reset iCloud password, removed and brought back the iCloud account on Mac. No effect.

What could that be, please?

Thanks for getting in touch, Andre.K.

It sounds like you're running into a server error when using iCloud. We can help.

Usually when Apple experiences an outage, you can find details about it on the System Status page. While this may have been an issue when you first reached out, it doesn't appear that there are any issues currently. Can you confirm that the error is still occurring for you?

If it is, try using an alternate Wi-Fi network, and if you still see the alert, you can Contact Apple for support and service.

Hope that helps.

Take care.

If you see suspicious Calendar events

If you get an unwanted or suspicious calendar invitation in Mail or Calendar, you can report it as Junk in iCloud. If you might have unintentionally subscribed to a spam Calendar, you can delete it.

I have the exact same problem. Tried to rule out all sorts of things and ended up even deleting all my calendars to build them form scratch. Even an empty calender gives this kind of errors unfortunatly,... I've called Apple support and they are investigating the issue.

The interesting part is that I also have the same error in combination with p72-calendarws.icloud.com server,..

My data seems to be on server p72. My wife and kids do not have this issue, so they are probably on a different machine.

There are different types of error: Either the calendar crashes by just clicking on the icon in the web browser (calendar does not respond) or in the calendar a switch to the next or previous month causes a crash since the events could not be loaded correctly.

Dear JDO_Apple, thank you for your reply. Yes, I did check the System Status page, all systems go including iCloud Calendar. Tried to switch from Ethernet to Wlan, no effect. The problem persists, only with this specific iCloud account, and only with iCloud Calendar.

I think I will have to report this problem to Apple or to create a brand new iCloud account and try to migrate the data from the current iCloud account to the new one.
