Bluetooth issues MacOS Monterey

I am having an issue, where I cannot connect a Wii Remote to my MacBook Air with M1 on MacOS Monterey, it asks me to insert a pin even tho a pin isn't necessary (and there isn't any) . (It may be because there is no Bluetooth Assistant anymore) I have another Mac, a MacBook Pro with Intel on MacOS Big Sur and it works flawlessly, it lets me connect a Wii Remote without asking a pin. Does anyone have a solution, other than downgrading? Or will it be fixed,?

MacBook Air (2020 or later)

I know this comment isn't gonna solve the issue, but I have the same problem. Actually, a lot of people have the same problem, saying their Wiimotes don't sync on Monterey but worked fine on Big Sur. There are also conversations online about how this is the case for a lot of Bluetooth devices.
