prompt to update apple ID settings won't go away
i just set up my new iphone 13 and it keeps prompting me to update my ID. I enter the passcode and it just scrolls....forever.

If you want, try going to the Apple ID website https://appleid.apple.com and Log-in to your Apple ID.
See if everything seems ok ... maybe a payment method / card expiry date needs updating ?
And if you Log-In on the new iPhone, it will likely be added to the list of devices automatically, if that is needed.
