Do not disturb not working Mac

This is happening to me too. To date I have contacted Apple through chat and spoken to someone on the phone, as well as going into local Apple Store. Not one person has been able to help or resolve this issue. I've upgraded the operating system 3 times this week! With every update my macbook gets slower and it still hasn't resolved the Do Not Disturb problem.

This is extremely frustrating. Like someone else on this community chat, I am on video conference calls a lot and it is very annoying that the DND no longer works.

Yes we can turn off mail sound, but this shouldn't have to happen if the DND worked as it did before. Very much wish I hadn't upgraded to Monterey.

This issue is a nightmare. Had to take a serious meeting today and email notifications kept pinging in. DND worked for 5 minutes, then stopped working. Focus settings don't work. This is ridiculous! Apple please sort this out asap

I can't turn off email sound notifications ever! Do not disturb doesn't work but neither does changing the mail preferences or the notifications in system preferences. The only way I can turn them off is by muting my computer. This has disturbed me multiple times on various zoom calls and I keep having to apologize on work calls. Hope this gets solved soon!

I'm on Monterey 12.2.1.

I've tried reinstalling the OS but that didn't work either.

I am having this same problem and am about to toss my mac mini out of the nearest window then go back to PC.

I am experiencing the same thing. On my other devices I'm not receiving notifications. Only on the Mac mini M1 with Monterey. This has got to stop.

Me, too. Following to see if this gets fixed. I’m going to turn off notification sounds in the interim. Ruined a zoom recording today.

So frustrating! If it makes you feel better, I think Zoom does not actually display notifications.

Hi, I'm experiencing this bug too, just wanted to add that there's another App that's doing this, WhatsApp for macOS. It's been doing this for a while, before Monterey.

Is there any progress on the issue? It still seems present in 12.2.1.

Still the same problems with Monterey 12.3.1
