Vaccine Passport Unavailable
When attempting to download the "Verify Ontario" vaccine passport app on my iPhone, I receive the message "This application requires iOS 11.0 or later" and denies download. I have previously tried suggestions to download iTunes on a computer and search for apps there (the workaround being that updated apps which are no longer available to older iPhones can be searched, after which older versions compatible with the phone could be marked and later downloaded to the phone via the App Store - as the App Store no longer exists in the newest version of iTunes, this is now no longer possible), but as the Verify Ontario app is quite new, I can't imagine that this would be possible anyway.
Can someone Apple Inc. or another user please suggest a way for me to source the application in order to provide proof of vaccination status with the older iPhone (without buying the newest version of cell phone)?
P.S. Has the aforementioned strategy to get compatible versions of apps on older iPhones been purposely thwarted? What reason could there be to strike the App Store from iTunes when it was so commonly used? If it is no longer there, then where else can it be accessed (the 'App Store' when accessed on Apple's website describes millions of available apps, but without the ability to either browse the selection or search the database of software).
