I used to use my iPhone to control the Apple TV, but it has started asking me to enter a code into the Apple TV control center when I attempt to pair the iPhone (i.e. the pairing has been lost for some reason). Of course, since I don't have the original remote or any other paired phone, I can't enter anything into the Apple TV control center. There is only one wifi at the house that I have credentials for, so they're both on the same wifi network. Some people indicate the TV presents a code that should be entered on the iPhone when pairing but no such message is being displayed on the TV. It is continuing apparently oblivious to the lack of communication.
