how to set up iMessage on new computer if old one just died?
iMessage for txt messages is not working on my new MacBook Pro. My old laptop died so I can't access it to switch it. How do I fix this problem?

You don{t need to do anything on the old computer.
If the new one is signe into the same Apple ID for Messages as the iPhone, then on the iPhone, go to Settings->Messages->Text Message Forwarding, and make sure the new Mac is turned on there.
