Mac mini M1 and multiple displays

I have 2 monitors, both with HDMI inputs only. So, from my Mac mini M1, I can use its HDMI output for one of the monitors of course. If I use the Thunderbolt 3, or the USB-C for the 2nd monitor, would a TB3 to HDMI adapter work?

Mac mini, macOS 12.0

Bob are you certain about that. I've heard from several ciscussions that at least a 2nd display can be used via the USB-C or TB3 port. The only thing I'd like to confirm (that I hadn't found in these discussions) is whether a TB3 or USB-C to HDMI adapter will work. In the discussions I've read so far, the only reference to using the TB3 or USB-C ports are with an adapter for Display Port or MDP.
