Apple Watch S1 running WatchOS 3.2.3

I have an apple watch series 1 running WatchOS 3.2.3. When setting up my watch in the watch app, I get to the Software Update screen that says "Your Apple Watch is up to date with all the latest bug fixes and security enhancements."

The only options I have are to Exit and Reset Watch or Continue Update. When I click "Continue Update" nothing happens. If I choose "Exit and Reset Watch" the watch resets and the pairing process restarts.

Is the Series 1 still supported with updates? If it is, what is the latest update for the S1. I know the latest WatchOS won't run on S1.

Is it time to just upgrade the Watch to S3 or above?

We understand your Apple Watch shows that you're on the latest watchOS version. We'd be happy to assist you with this!

The last watchOS version that is compatible with your Apple Watch is watchOS 4.3.2. We'd recommend trying the steps under "If you need help updating" in Update your Apple Watch to try and get your Apple Watch updated. Keep in mind, if your iPhone is on the latest iOS version, this can also be a cause of why the Apple Watch is unable to update to the latest version it is compatible with.
