Received new Apple Watch, everything I own uses usb except this new watch, came with no charging block, what now? Spend more money at apple of course.
There's no reason to blame your daughter. Thank her for the terrific gift, then go out and spend a few dollars and buy a charging plug. Best Buy sells the Anker Nano 20W USB C plug for about $16 and it works great.
Ps: You must be remembering getting an Apple Watch Series 5. When Apple brought out Apple Watch 6 and SE, they too did not come with a charging plug, just like Apple Watch 7

I don't see the problem. The OS version referred to on the dropdown list means nothing. All feedback is read, but not responded to. But good on you for continuing a crusade that gets you nowhere.

I have enquired about what happens to it. It goes through a filtering process electronically.
I cannot leave this with forum members thinking these whole forms are printed out and office staff reading them.

Appreciate the info, Apple has been avoiding usb since attempts at more than one FireWire came and went. If it’s not broke, don’t fix it.
Suppose I should blame my daughter for buying me a watch for Christmas. Tell her she should have read the box. My last watch a version 6 did come with a charger.
So choose any option for WatchOS and in the body of the message specifically say this is about WatchOS 8.3. This is not uncommon and something I've done many times previously.

Another option is to purchase any USB-C power adapter elsewhere. Anker is one brand with an excellent reputation but there are many others.
