iCloud calendars do not sync on iPhone - Unable to connect ot the internet

Dear community

After updating my iPhone to OS15.2, I figured that my calendar does not synchronize anymore on my iPhone. When I click on "Calendars" in the Calendar app, it continuously displays the error "Unable to connect to the internet."

My internet is fine, my other devices are up-to-sync without any issues. I tried to restart, switch off/on (Settings > Apple ID > Icloud > Calendars, but the error reoccurs.

Any ideas? I am suffering without my calendar on my phone.

Thanks and BR

Reset Network Settings: Only network settings are removed.

  • When you reset network settings, previously used networks and VPN settings that weren’t installed by a configuration profile or mobile device management (MDM) are removed. Wi-Fi is turned off and then back on, disconnecting you from any network you’re on. The Wi-Fi and Ask to Join Networks settings remain turned on.
  • To remove VPN settings installed by a configuration profile, go to Settings > General > Profiles & Device Management, select the configuration profile, then tap Remove Profile. This also removes other settings and accounts provided by the profile. See Install or remove configuration profiles on iPhone in this guide.
  • To remove network settings installed by MDM, go to Settings > General > Profiles & Device Management, select the management, then tap Remove Management. This also removes other settings and certificates provided by MDM. See “Mobile device management (MDM)” in the iOS Deployment Reference.
  • Reset your Network Settings. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before.

If the above fails...

Reset All Settings: All settings—including network settings, the keyboard dictionary, the Home screen layout, location settings, privacy settings, and Apple Pay cards—are removed or reset to their defaults. No data or media are deleted.

  1. Reset All Settings: Return iPhone settings to their defaults - Apple Support:- Return iPhone settings to their defaults
  2. You can return settings to their defaults without erasing your content.
  3. If you want to save your settings, back up your iPhone before returning them to their defaults. For example, if you’re trying to solve a problem but returning settings to their defaults doesn’t help, you might want to restore your previous settings from a backup.

Check your WiFi Router / Modem for --> Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points ...

Connecting to Wifi is the first part and then getting connected to the Internet is the second

  1. If you connect to Wifi, doesn't necessarily mean you are connected to the internet. If you are not connected to wifi could be a problem with iPhone settings or Router/Modem Settings
  2. If you are not connected to the internet is the sole issue of Router / Modem Settings. Contact your ISP immediately

For your Internet connection.

  • Over Cellular: contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider). The agency who issued the SIM to you
  • Over WiFI: Contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider), the agency who provided the Internet Service on your Modem/Router to you

Unfortunately, I do not find any Profiles & Device Management settings.

Only VPN & Device Management.

Resetting the Network Settings and removing the VPN Profile did not solve the issue.

Still not connected to the internet. However, on my MacBook and my iPad everything is fine. Could it be related to the iPhone 13 Pro?

I just used my old iPhone 11 and connected to iCloud. Calendar and Reminders are synced without any issues. Now I figured that the issue may be iPhone 13 related because my wife faces the same issues. Her calendar does not connect to the internet.

However, on both of our phones, all other iCloud services are functional: Mails, Contacts, etc.
