Airdrop not working with video files

Hello,

I have an M1 Max 14" MacBook Pro running Monterey 12.1 and an iPhone 13 Pro running 15.11. I am trying to airdrop a video file from my computer to my phone and it keeps saying it has failed. I have airdropped photos and it works fine. Any ideas as to why? The video is a standard mp4 exported from Premiere.

Thank you.

Hey Alan,

It appears that you're having a problem using AirDrop between your Mac and iPhone 13 Pro. When you try to AirDrop a video, you receive a message that it failed, and we're glad to provide assistance.

How to check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support -- Compare the size of the video file with the amount of storage you have available on your iPhone. If the video is larger than the amount of storage you have available, use the steps in this article to reclaim some of that storage space.

If you have plenty of storage space on your iPhone, see if restarting both devices allows the video to be transferred:

All the best.
