How to truely solve YouTube Tv buffering on Apple TV

I want a real solution to tje buffering issues I have with YouTube Tv on my Apple TV. It is a new 64gig 4K Apple TV. My Router is pushing over 200 mbps on a 5G wifi network (as tested on the Apple TV several times) where the router is running the most recent system software. I say all thatnto stop the answrrs i know are coming that are not the reasons. I als have a couple year olf Fire stick 4K eher i seldom see the buffering.

so, what is the problem, and how does it get fixef. Do i drop YouTube? Is it bad programing?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that your YouTube app is running slowly on Apple TV.

Great troubleshooting steps so far. Do any other apps experience this issue? If not, then it seems that the issue is isolated to this app. Check to see if there are updates for the app, then delete and reinstall if needed.

If this happens with multiple apps, does restarting help at all? Reference Restart Apple TV if needed.

It sounds like you have isolated this to the YouTube app. If you haven't already, try deleting and then redownloading the app.

Other apps do not seem to have the issue. In fact, over this past New Year's Weekend, I watch the bowl games with the ESPN app on the Apple TV with ZERO buffering issues. This is over 5 games over two days. when I did switch to Youtube TV at one point the buffering started within 20 minutes. From the feed ESPN provides!

The app is running the current version (one of the first things I checked) and I have restarted the Apple TV so many times. And it does not help. As I posted before, I really believe it is either bad or lazy programming on the part of Google/Youtube TV.
