my newly updated mac os cannot sync with my ipad. There's no itunes that works.

this happened from the new update during the update everything stopped?I tried to download iTunes and I canning find it anyway i don’t have it in iCloud either?

You cannot find a version of iTunes for Mojave, because it does not exist. As I said, you will be using Finder. The instructions on how to deal with the iPad and a Mac with Finder are located in the link I provided earlier.
i am dealing with the same issue but one thing you are not understanding is that though my mac recognizes my ipad in finder when I go to look at the details via finder it is telling to "unlock you ipad to use it with this computer" and because I have a blank screen on ipad air (3) i cannot unlock ipad...it is not recognizing my fingerprint.
You will need to put it into Recovery Mode. The instructions are in the link I provided under the heading, If your iPad turns on but gets stuck during startup
