Slide bar on right side in iCloud photos on my pc is not working

This question was posted over a year ago and no answer. I have this exact same issue and it is so frustrating! Would someone please help!! Here it is: I am trying to manage my iPhone photos through iCloud photos using a PC running Google Chrome. The photos are there. There is a slide bar on the right hand side of the screen but I am not able to pull it up or down. I can scroll up or down using my arrow keys on the keyboard, but using those causes things to be selected/deselected. Can someone please help? I want to use the scroll bar to be able to download specific photos intermittently into specific folders. This is making managing my photos incredibly frustrating!

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. From your post, you are having an issue using the scroll bar on the iCloud website. We'll do what we can to help.

Does the website work how you want in other browsers? Try seeing if the same thing happens to see if it's browser-specific.

I'm sorry but this is not helpful. I tried it in Microsoft Edge, the scroll bar doesn't work there either. I am using Google Chrome btw. I don't think it is a browser issue, it is an Apple issue. And I'm not going to clear my cache & cookies, because then I will lose all of my saved passwords and other items on websites that I don't want to have to replace. And I honestly don't think that will help. There were like 50 other people with the same question, I'm pretty sure it's an Apple issue because it is on PCs. How about someone take a true look at it (and not just write down the "pat" answer you give for general issues), and be honest about the issue and get back to me? This is isn't new either, the scroll bar had never worked for a few years, I just never posted about it. Thank you!
