WiFi and 5G slow on iPhone 12 Pro Max?

WiFi is fine on all other devices, getting speeds of at least 200Mbps, but when my phone is connected to WiFi (even when it's the only device connected), it's only getting a max of 15Mbps. Switching to 5G sometimes helps, but I often need to toggle airplane mode on and off for 5G to function well. I've reset network settings, turned the phone off and on, all the usual tricks and nothing is working. Has anyone else encountered this issue and what have you done to fix it?

Hello biomath,

We see you're having issues with your Wi-Fi connection running slowly, and we'd like to help.

Resetting the network settings was a good step to take. Have you also been able to try connecting the iPhone to a different, strong Wi-Fi network? That can help to see if it's a broader issue, or if the issue is specific to the network you're connecting to.

Try to also disable Bluetooth from Settings > Bluetooth (not Control Center), and see if that improves the connection. If this does help, we'd recommend following up with Apple Support for further investigation: Get Support

It may also help to try removing any casing on the iPhone to avoid interference. Similarly, this page can help with interference: Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference

Cheers.
