HomePod cuts in and out

Newly acquired HomePod mini is receiving airplay from iTunes on an iMac. Periodically cuts out then cuts back in again. Airplay continues uninterrupted on 2 airport express devices, as on the source iMac.

New to Apple ecosystem so not sure where to start investigation.

‘Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Mac Mini M1 airplay 2 issue with Homepod Mini Hi all, i've recently bought a new M1 MacMini: it runs perfectly but after suspension / sleep mode, the connection via airplay to my homepod mini doesn't work: i select from audio menu or via System Preferences the homepod then on the top of this the white light turns on but there isn't audio. Only way to fix this issue is reboot the mac mini and then it works until the next sleep. I've tried to reset the homepod and the mac is updated to monterey 12.2.1. Apple have some plan to fix this issue? Thank you, Stefano

No sound from HomePod I am having issues with my iMac 2021 and Homepod Mini. I can play music and sound from my iPhone 12 to the Homepod Mini, or even get it to play on its own. But no sound when I ahve connected it to my iMac through Airplay. I connect it though settings, sound and click on Airplay and then the Homepod. The Homepod then lights up. I can use the pause on the Homepod to start and stop a video, but I just don't get and sound from it. When I look in the Home app on the iMac it shows that the Homepod is playing, when I connect back to the iMac speakers it shows it as paused. I have 2 Homepods and this is the same with both of them Any ideas appreciated

Quit the music app on the iMac and restart

Try rebooting the wifi router.
