how can i use my older ipod classic with windows 10 the newest version of software doesn't support my I-POD classic. Is there a software out there that will allow me to use my I-pod with windows 10

That's odd. I've just hooked up my classic to the latest version of iTunes (12.12.2.2) running on Windows 11 and it is still supported. There was a pop-up about installing iPod support software, complete with a "Don't remind me again" button. Perhaps you could have selected that at some point. Try Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Reset Warnings, then try connecting your classic again while iTunes is running.
