Interference between AirPods 3 and MX Master 3

macOS build: 12.1 (21C52)

laptop: MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)

Recently I was told my voice heard in video meetings sounds robotic like and contains static. I confirmed that by recording my voice in Voice Memos when using both the mouse and AirPods 3.

I also confirmed that the AirPods would work just fine if I turn off my mouse. Any way to resolve the problem? MX Master 3 only supports connecting via Bluetooth.

Hello Everyone,

I had fairly similar issue (not the robot voice, but the signal cracking using Mx master 3 and any Bluetooth headphones). None of the solutions presented above solved it for me, and I am also recently on Ventura, which also didn't solve.

But all those pointers lead me to think the main issue was a conflict between the two "continuity" functions both logitech and apple offer, to be able to move mouth through different device. (They probably don't want to fix the issue cause they both want you to dedicate to one system...)

Anyhow, I found a setting that did it, and I haven't seen it here, so I thought of sharing as this was so annoying and it seems to be well gone now for me:

Settings --> display --> Advanced --> deactivate the first setting, the one that basically activates this continuity setting.

The problem was finally solved for me. I hope it can help someone out there!

I have had this issue with the MX keys Mac & MX Master 3 for Mac and AirPods Pro. Spend hours with the Apple Support and then went to the Genius Bar as problem couldn't be eliminated. I was thinking that this is my laptop problem. At Genius Bar it worked perfectly with Apple Magic keyboard but it happens with Logitech Keyboard. MacBook Pro 16 in. 2019 So my workaround was to connect via Logitech Unifying Receiver.

However I am wondering if this is Logitech Keyboard that causes the issue or Logitech Mouse.

Now I am having different issue. I have unifying receiver connected to the back of my Studio Display via ethernet dongle. Mouse & keyboard interfere with each other making it unusable. I had to connect it via dongle to my Macbook.

Very annoying. I wonder if different MacBook models have this problem.

Hi guys,

I own a MX Master 3 & MX Keys, I also have this issue when paired with either my AirPods Max, AirPods Pro and Airpods Gen 3. I lost my USB receiver and can't simply go back too use it...

It's absolutely terrible because when I'm hooked up to my dual 4K displays I kinda need to use an external mouse and keyboard, it's quite annoying.

For now I turned off the continuity to the iPad and it improved the cracking sound a lot, however there is a bit of cracking sound every 5 minutes.

Let's keep bumping this thread because this issue actually happens.
